Half and hour later, Nelly was banging her head repeatedly against the wall, wondering how on earth she'd managed to mess up canned chicken noodle soup.

Quinn continued her drive home, trying to force herself not to feel so sick.

Eventually, Nelly managed to make chicken noodle soup correctly, and took some in to Diwata, who manged a "thank you". Then Nelly went to watch Doctor Who on her tablet.

Quinn exited her car when she arrived and gripped the side of her head as she walked across the parking lot and into the air conditioning of her apartment building.

Diwata eventually sat up enough to take a sip or two of the soup, then lay back down again.
Nelly watched Doctor Who.

Quinn managed to unlock her apartment and get in, lock it, then lay down on the couch feeling ill.

After an hour or so, Nelly snuck into Diwata's room to take her soup bowl, and found Diwata asleep. She covered her with a blanket before sneaking back out. I'm a great roommate, aren't I? she thought to herself.

Quinn stretched her legs out and rolled over onto her stomach, feeling like she was going to vomit. She didn't want to stand up, or move, or maybe live anymore. But whatever she felt wasn't good. She felt her stomach rumbling and she felt incredibly dizzy. On one hand she told herself, dumbass, go to the freaking hospital! But the other side of her was yelling in her other ear, you just spilled a bunch of radioactive stuff on your hands. What the heck is a hospital gonna do for you? Call your supervisor and chew you out? Deal with it. You brought this on yourself. Ugh. Ugh. Ugh.

Quinn rubbed her hands on her face and resented herself a bit more before getting up and somehow stumbling into her bedroom to throw on some comfy pajamas. She just wanted to sleep, but there was no way she'd achieve that with her head pounding so hard or her wrist aching so much. It felt like she had a knife through her wrist twisting around or something. She cursed repeatedly and leaned down onto the carpet, leaning her head against her bed and sighing.

Diwata slept, though she groaned occasionally in her sleep and kept tossing and turning. If she'd been awake, she'd probably have felt terrible.

Nelly just pretty much tiptoed around the apartment and tried to be quiet, which was quite honestly very hard for her to do.

Quinn rubbed at her wrist and groaned. I should get an ambulance or call my doctor...I need some ibuprofen. That's a long walk. Ugh.

Diwata woke up, groaned, had a sip of water, and fell asleep again.
Nelly watched some more Doctor Who.

Quinn forced herself to stand up and then promptly rolled back over onto the carpet. Nope. I should just take a bath or something. Jeeze, no, I'd probably drown...

The next morning, Diwata woke up horribly, achingly thirsty, and stumbled out of bed and into the bathroom, where she cupped water from the faucet and drank it right out of her hands. She was too thirsty to care about what might be in the tap water or that she could've gone to the kitchen for a cup.

When Quinn woke up the next morning, she felt super itchy and wanted a shower immediately so she headed in that direction.

After drinking what must've been like 2 gallons of water, Diwata felt somewhat better and managed not to stumble at all as she walked back into her room to get dressed. Thank goodness it's a Saturday, she thought. She had Saturdays off. It was her only day off, actually.

When Quinn stopped to wash her face, she noticed some weird green streaks across her skin on her wrist. Oh god, oh god, oh god. This is where the stuff spilled isn't it? Oh god, she started to scrub it under the tap hurriedly trying to wash the marks away.

Once in the kitchen, Diwata found a note on the counter. "If you're reading this, Di, it means you must be feeling better which is REALLY GOOD!!!!  Anyway I went out to the store to grab some stuff to try making these really good sounding brownies I read about online. They've got, like, TONS of fudge omigosh YUM!!! I can't wait to eat them ehehe!!!!!!

Quinn scrubbed away a bit more before getting in the shower and trying there. When she rubbed her skin raw, she ran her fingers along the exposed piece and cringed. Oh god. This isn't good. This is not good. I need like...I need some qtips or something.

Diwata was surprised to find herself starting to become thirsty again. Jeez, I must be really dehydrated, didn't I just drink like a gallon of water? 
She made a bowl of cereal to help both her hunger and her thirst, and just stared into space as she ate it, half of her content in relishing the rare peace and quiet, and the other half worried about what the substance that Quinn girl had spilled on her might have done.

Quinn continued to be annoyed, itchy and tired from everything going on.

Diwata continued to be thirsty no matter how much water she drank.

By Monday morning, Quinn was miserable and tired and achey. She woke up early in the morning, determined to make it to work with the help of some OTC medications. She took a couple of them to try and wake up, but it was just a few moments later when she made it into the bathroom to brush her teeth and stopped to stare in the mirror. I didn't...that's...not? I didn't...dye my hair yesterday did I?

Diwata woke up dying for a shower, and once in it the water made her feel a bit weird. She turned the water on and off several times, and changed the temperature, to see if that made a difference, but nothing did. My skin's probably just dry or something, that's all.

Quinn continued to stare at her reflection, grabbing a handful of hair curiously and shaking her head slightly. Oh, god, no. I can't handle this for work. This is...against dress code. Definitely. Jeeze, I need...a hat or something. What the hell? This isn't normal. Who broke in and dyed my hair??

Diwata felt really weird after her shower, but tried to brush it off, even though it made her a bit worried and scared. Nothing's wrong. You're perfectly fine. Take some nice deep breaths, Diwata, it's perfectly okay. You're just sleepy or something. Go make a cup of coffee, you'll feel better.
